Direct embroidery or patch - Which is better ?

There are two ways to create beautiful embroidery with StickManufaktur . We carry out most orders using a technique known as direct embroidery. However, patches are also becoming increasingly popular with our customers. With direct embroidery, your desired motif is embroidered directly onto the fabric without any backing or intermediate material.

An interesting alternative to this are the embroidered patches or badges mentioned above. We recommend this type of textile finishing for particularly elastic fabrics (direct embroidery would distort the shape of the base material), difficult surfaces (e.g., too many seams or imitation leather and corduroy), and very complicated image templates.

Of course, embroidered badges can also be chosen simply for aesthetic reasons. Club crests, for example, or figures or embroidered mascots from labels look great as patches.
