Direct embroidery or patch - Which is better ?

There are two ways to realize a beautiful embroidery with the EmbroideryManufactory embroidery machine. Most of the orders we realize with the so-called direct embroidery. But also patches are used more and more often by our customers. With direct embroidery, your desired motif is embroidered directly onto the textiles without any carrier or intermediate material.

An interesting alternative to this are the above mentioned embroidered patches or badges. We recommend this type of textile finishing for particularly elastic fabrics (in this case direct embroidery would distort the shape of the backing material), for difficult surfaces (e.g. too many seams or artificial leather and corduroy) and for very complicated artwork.

However, the embroidered badge can of course be chosen simply for visual reasons. The coats of arms of clubs, for example, or even figures or embroidered mascots of labels simply make a good patch.
